Arizona Sensational Six

My sister, Lisa, took these awesome pictures of Zach. Two funny things during the shoot - Aunt Nell was with us and would pull funny faces to try to get Z to smile. Instead of smiling, he would imitate the funny face right back! The other funny thing came when we found a potato bug and tried to show Z thinking he would bend down and try to touch it. Instead, he marched right over and stomped on it! He was absolutely mesmerized by all the boats on Utah Lake, which made it difficult to have him look at the camera. Lisa still did an amazing job and was able to really capture his personality.

For Z's b-day we went miniature golfing and then celebrated with cousins. It was a great time!

My friend spent a couple of hours taking pictures of Chloe when she was two weeks old. We were really pleased with the outcome and especially loved the pictures she got of all of our kids together!

Highlights of the trip: -Z LOVED having one on one attention and milked it for all it was worth! -He put his hands up in the air during take off like he was riding a roller coaster. -He loved riding on the luggage while walking through the airport!

On our way home from the Polar Express, we stopped so Kennedy and McGuire could play in the snow. Zach was sleeping (except the first pic of him we got while still at the hotel) and mom stayed in the car to stay warm and take pictures!

We had a great time with Mir's family while in UT as well. Unfortunately, we weren't any better at taking pics!

We had a great time visiting with Rich's family while in UT. Sadly, I didn't pull out my camera very often so there are very few pics! :(

I spied someone with Krispy Kreme doughnuts while at the kids soccer games one weekend and mentioned they looked good. Rich was so great to load us all in the car and drive to the closest Krispy Kreme store (a mere 30 minutes away!). By the time we finally made it, it ended up being lunch time so that is what we all enjoyed for lunch that day!

We had a great Halloween this year!

Here are more pics of random things that have gone on in the last month. The funniest was probably when the kids were in the pool area with Rich who was on the phone. They were sticking their feet in the pool, but decided it would be much more fun jumping in fully clothed! When Rich got off the phone, he decided to join them! It was a lot of fun and the kids loved the spontaneity of it all. Zach however, preferred to stay out of the pool and "mow the lawn" Speaking of Zach, it looks like he never has pants on when in actuality it is rare that he runs around in just his diaper...sadly those are the times we pull out the camera!

Brindley was our dog we have had for the last 5 1/2 years. He was a great dog and the kids loved him. However, we felt like he wasn't getting the attention he deserved so we found a great home for him to go live. He is now part of a three dog home and spoiled!

Heather and Kevin watched the kids for us when I had the adoption conference and Rich was out of town. The kids had been talking for a long time about wanting to ride Uncle Kevin's motorcycle and this proved to be a perfect time for such an activity! Thanks Heather and Kevin for taking such great pictures!

The kids got a hold of the camera one day and this is what I found.

We have made several trips to the splash pad at the new mall. It is a fun activity the kids enjoy, including Zach! We also got in our pool this last weekend. The water is still quite cold (80 degrees!), but we all had a great time. We are very excited for the summer as all three kids LOVE being in the pool!! Enjoy the pics!

These are a few random pictures. The ones of the kids dancing are at an outdoor mall we took them to on Friday night. They usually have a live band, but this week it was just a DJ - the kids had a BLAST dancing on the stage and being silly.

This was Kennedy's first field trip. It was a fun day for everyone!

We had a great Easter! The kids enjoyed our traditional egg hunt with our cul-de-sac friends. As you will see from the pictures, we didn't ever get a really great pic of all three kids in their Easter outfits, but it was not for lack of trying! :)

Here are pics of our trip to Northern AZ to ride the Polar Expres. Kennedy kept asking when we were going to go back to the "real" Arizona. We told her we were already in AZ and she said, "No, we're not. It doesn't snow in AZ. Let's go back to the REAL AZ." (This was after she made her snow angel!)

We took the kids to Kiddie Kandids for Zach's 6 month pics, Kennedy's 4 year pics, and a sibling group shot. The sibling shot did not turn out that great...The photographer didn't have McGuire positioned right and after the first shot, Zach melted down and Kennedy and Guire were done posing so this is what we got! Cute kids though and we love them tons!

Halloween was so much fun with the kids this year. Kennedy was Tinkerbell, McGuire was Peter Pan and Zach was the Skunk Lost Boy. My niece, Olivia, and nephew, Gavin came from Las Vegas to spend Halloween with us. It was so much fun to see the kids in their costumes!

The kids had a blast carving pumpkins and enjoying our "guts and bones" dinner.

Kennedy LOVES to change her clothes many, many times a day. One morning, McGuire got into it as well. I am not sure if it was with Kennedy's help or not, but these are pics of what they came out of the room wearing. There are some other random pictures of the kids as well. Enjoy!

The weather is finally nice enough to enjoy some time at the park. These are pics from two different trips to the park last week. Lots of fun!!

Last weekend we took the kids to a pumpkin patch. It wasn't all it was advertised to be, but the kids still had a great time. It was fun to watch their excitement! We all enjoyed the evening together.

We brought Zach home on Thursday, July 12th. McGuire was sleeping when we arrived, but Kennedy was excitedly waiting our arrival. Both kids are so happy to have him home!

We were very lucky to be able to witness Zach's birth, and have lots of pictures to remember the event by! These are pics from his birth and the two days he was in the hospital. We are so happy to have him join our family!
