Families Supporting Adoption (FSA)

Rich and I had the chance to meet with the new director of the LDS Family Services Mesa Agency this week.  In our meeting, he asked that we serve as the chairs for the Families Supporting Adoption (FSA) committee for this agency.  We are so excited for this opportunity as we are VERY passionate about adoption and the opportunity to talk with, educate, and support not only other families who are going through their own adoption experiences, but also the community on the blessings that come to families through adoption.  In this capacity, we will have the opportunity to meet with Stake Presidencies and High Councils, participate in community outreach programs (schools, media, hospitals, etc.) and become more educated and involved in adoption legislation.  The new director is awesome and has such a passion for FSA and what it can provide so we look forward to working with him and the others at the agency.  We are excited about the chance to bring about change and establish more of a support system in the adoption community! If anyone has suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them!
