It smells like...

Yesterday when I was driving Kennedy home from pre-school we had the windows in the car rolled down.  She inhaled a deep breath and said very excitedly, "Mom, it smells like rain!!"  I didn't realize it had rained enough in her little life here in Phoenix that she would recognize the scent of it!  She was so excited (as we all are whenever there is a change of weather in Phoenix!) and even more excited when we went for a walk today and it started to drizzle a little bit.  I love the simple joys the kids discover each day and how it reminds me to slow down and enjoy my kids and their discoveries and observations!
