I took the kids to dinner last night while Rich was out of town. Kennedy happened to find a penny and played with it throughout most of dinner. When I finally asked her to put it away so she could finish eating she handed it to me and said, "Here mom, you can have it. You don't have much money anyway!"
Looking in the mirror after I did his hair, McGuire said, "Wow, I look GOOOD!!"
I bought Kennedy a shirt a long time ago off of some clearance rack somewhere. It finally fits her so I have pulled it out several times to have her wear it. It is a light blue color and has a tiny little strawberry where typically a Polo symbol or something like that would be. When I asked her why she always refused to wear the shirt she said:
"Mom, I don't even like to EAT strawberries so why would I want to WEAR anything that has a strawberry on it?"
I had asked Kennedy to keep an eye on Zach while I ran upstairs to take care of something. After a few minutes Kennedy came up and said, "Mom, I really tried but I just can't handle Zach anymore."
I appreciated her effort (Zach is a very busy little guy!)!
While we were driving in the car, Kennedy said, "Mom, when we get home can we check Aunt Emi's blog and see what's going on?"
