Kennedy:  Mom, I sharpened this pencil all by myself!

Mom:  Wow, good job!

Kennedy:  I AM pretty excellent aren't I!

You know it's time to shave when...

Your 18 month old rubs his hand on your leg and says, "OOOOWWWW!" and repeats the process until you can successfully redirect his attention!

Driving

We were driving along when one of those big motorcylces old men drive with the extra wheels on them passed us.  McGuire excitedly said, "Hey, that motorcylce had training wheels!  COOOOL!"

Brothers

This morning, McGuire was being so kind and helpful with Zach.  I said to him, "McGuire, you are such a good big brother.  Thank you for helping Zach, that was so nice!"  To which McGuire replied with a huge grin, "MOM, I know I'm a good brother.  I'm a good brother to Zach AND to Kennedy!"
